WE’RE ALL ABOUT THE FOOD…SO WE LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!!

Our Honeybrook Organic Farm is ‘open for the season’, so expect lots of fresh picked berries, fresh, organic veggies and sweet herbs when you come visit us! When the tomatoes are plentiful, you’ll enjoy ‘Ken’s Famous Heirloom Bruschetta’ on homebaked Italian bread…our special treat to our guests!

Another thing we are excited about is the re-opening of The Sergeantsville Farmers Market! Just a 10 minute drive from the Inn, the Market has kicked off it’s fourth season, and its better than ever! On Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon, local farmers and vendors will sell a “Hunterdon County Bounty” of goods!

At least a dozen local farms are present weekly and goods available for purchase include organic popcorn, farm fresh eggs, fresh pastured chickens and meats, ‘Jersey Fresh’ peaches, berries and organic fruits & vegetables, including fresh grown asparagus & silver queen corn. There are beautiful perennial plants, fresh cut flowers, and herbs for sale too. A local beekeeper offers honey products and beeswax candles. One of the farms that participates in the Market specializes in the food of the Italian and French countryside with hard to find varieties of San Marzano & Flamme Tomatoes, Red and Golden Marconi Peppers, French Fingerling Potatoes, and fancy French varieties of Beets, Lettuces and Carrots.

The Market also offers fine quality, handcrafted goods which include functional stoneware pottery, handmade quilts and pillows made of vintage and chenille fabrics and even gourmet homemade dog treats.

The Sergeantsville Farmers Market is a producer’s only market, so what is sold is grown or made by the person selling it! All produce is grown within the Hunterdon County confines and all crafts and produce are grown or harvested in New Jersey.
