Holiday Cooking Event at the inn!
Join us on Wednesday, December 9, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm as two renowned Chefs and cook book authors from The Farm Cooking School serve up some Holiday Fare right here in Main Street Manor's kitchen! We are happy to host Shelley Wiseman & Ian Knauer for this fun Holiday cooking event. Chef Ian honed his cooking skills in the world-renowned test kitchens of Gourmet Magazine for almost a decade while Shelley was Gourmet's Travel Food Editor and recipe developer for 12 years. They came together several years ago to create The Farm Cooking School, in nearby Stockton, NJ. After attending several classes at the School, we decided to invite them to the inn for a demo right here at the inn! This demonstration and tasting of easy & elegant hors d'oeuvres is just perfect for the upcoming Holiday Season. Hors d'oeuvres will include gravlax (a home cured salmon), white bean crostini, bacon wrapped stuffed dates, homemade hummus and some additional seasonal surprises. Attendees will enjoy the demo & tasting and will leave with recipes that can be recreated easily for your Holiday guests. BYOB and the inn will provide mock-tails for non-drinkers that are attending. After the demo and tasting, you are invited to relax throughout the inn enjoy the festive ambience of a Main Street Manor Holiday. Cost is $60.00 per person and pre-paid reservations are required.
